Kicking Off the Autumn Season – Farmers Fall Festival

The first day of Autumn, September 22, is nearly here and Downtown Cary is ready to celebrate the changing of the seasons. Although North Carolina weather is usually all over the place (looking at you, false fall), it is a great time to embrace apple cider, pumpkin spice, and the other things that remind us why we love this time of year.

That is why you should visit us at the Downtown Cary Park for the 9th Annual Farmers Fall Festival, taking place on Saturday, September 19, from 11 am to 4 pm!

The Cary Farmers Market is a weekly event held nearly every Saturday. But they take it to the next level during the traditional harvest season! Visitors can expect a variety of fresh and local food. Over 40 Farmers Market vendors offer cheese, nuts, juice, cider, and more. An additional 58 guest vendors will join for this event. You may never know what you may stumble across while browsing from tent to tent in the lively atmosphere.

The Festival has plenty more going on beyond shopping. At least six food trucks will be available for on-the-go food. You can order drinks at the Bark Bar or any other nearby establishment in the social district. Live music will be playing on the main stage, featuring Grace Lucia and the Pure Bred Mutts.

Another festival tradition is the Pie Eating Contest, thanks to Once in a Blue Moon Bakery. So maybe skip breakfast if you’re interested!

Finally, there will be a children’s village, fun games, and interactive exhibits to truly bring the spirit of the Fall season to life!

It will be a great time for those of all ages and we will see you there for the festival!
