In the afternoon of a hot, sunny day, the power to a widespread part of Cary suddenly shut down. This caused great confusion and left thousands of homes and businesses without power for a few hours.

After all the excitement of Lazy Daze, Downtown Cary is giving people a reason to visit again! Two new restaurants just opened, adding even more to the downtown dining scene. Lloyd's Full Service and K38 Baja Grill are here, both near the new parking garage, so they are very easy to get to as well....
The 50th Lazy Daze Arts & Crafts Festival is here and ongoing (August 22 and 23) from 9 am to 5 pm! Hundreds of artists, live music, drinks, food, and more await! If you are planning to go later today, going tomorrow (8/23), or just looking back, here's a preview of what is going on!
