Join the Cary Police Department for a Blood Drive in partnership with The Blood Connection, supporting the NC Special Olympics! Each donor will receive $30 in TBC rewards for an e-gift card of their choice and a free selection of gourmet snacks. Plus, The Blood Connection will donate $10 per donor to the Special Olympics NC! Walk ups are welcome, but scheduling a donation time in advance is appreciated and helps staff anticipate how many donors to expect. Sign up for an available time slot here. Know Before You Go Donors must be 16 years of age or older and over 110lbs to donate. Blood can be donated every 56 days. Written parental consent is required for 16 and 17 year olds in NC. Join us as we kick off our 2026 movie series in the Park with an epic screening of The Dark Knight (PG-13). With the help of Lieutenant Jim Gordon and District Attorney Harvey Dent, Batman sets out to destroy organized crime in Gotham for good. The triumvirate proves to be effective, but they soon find themselves prey to a rising criminal mastermind known as the Joker, who thrusts Gotham into anarchy and forces the Dark Knight ever closer to crossing the fine line between hero and vigilante. Come early to enjoy pre-screening activities for all ages, making it a perfect night out for everyone. Kids can create their own Bat Masks at the Art Cart, and be on the lookout, Batman just might be keeping watch over the Park this night! Circle and Square is a play designed for ages 2-5 and their parents/caregivers to attend and enjoy together. In this interactive, mostly nonverbal story, audiences meet free spirit Circle and highly structured Square. These two characters have a hard time figuring out how to play together because they are so different. Throughout the play, Circle and Square discover each other's unique gifts and how they can be combined to have even more fun together than apart. Get ready for an epic night of games, creativity, and fun at Park St Courts & Arena—just for teens! This free event is the perfect place to hang out, compete, and create with friends. Apex Racing Lab’s mobile gaming trailer will be on-site, bringing high-speed Racing Simulators where four players can go head-to-head in a thrilling competition. Buckle up and get ready to test your skills! While you may need to wait your turn for the Racing Simulator, there’s plenty to enjoy in the meantime. Along Park Street Courts, a selection of teen-friendly board games will be available, and a 3-in-1 Inflatable Sports Game in Park St Arena will add even more action to the mix. For those ready to compete, bracket-style tournaments for Cornhole and Spikeball will take place during the evening, with prizes awarded to the top three teams in each competition. Cornhole bracket sign-up will run from 5–5:30 p.m., with the competition beginning at 5:45 p.m. Games will be played to 21 points. Spikeball bracket sign-up will take place from 6:45–7:15 p.m., with the competition starting at 7:30 p.m. Games will be played to 11 points and teams must win by 2. For teens who prefer something more creative, air-dry clay magnet and keychain making will offer a relaxed, artsy activity option. A teen DJ will keep the energy high throughout the event, and free snacks, including cotton candy and popcorn from Spunderful, will be available while supplies last.
