Dining in Downtown – New Restaurants

After all the excitement of Lazy Daze, Downtown Cary is giving people a reason to visit again! Two new restaurants just opened, adding even more to the downtown dining scene. Lloyd’s Full Service and K38 Baja Grill are here, both near the new parking garage, so they are very easy to get to as well.

Lloyd’s Full Service

After a brief test run during Lazy Daze, Lloyd’s is now fully open for all! It is hard to miss with its prime location on the corner of Academy and Chatham. Inspired by the garage that stood in its spot before, the restaurant keeps the garage’s charm and aesthetic alive.

The Old Garage

It features an iconic green van, large garage doors, and a gas station overhang over its outdoor seats. Inside, you can see the original cinderblock wall at the right end of the bar, before it gives way to more dining seats. Looking up, you can even see the original wooden ceiling beams.

The atmosphere is unmatched and you should make plans to get dinner there next time you visit the downtown area!

With tacos, rolls, enchiladas, quesadillas, wraps, and more, K38 is a great spot for lunch, dinner, happy hour, and everything else in between!

Check them out the next time you get a chance and you can get the menu and all of their information on their website!
