Here are some events happening in Downtown Cary that caught our eye. You can always check in with our friends at the Town of Cary for more events.

Cary Farmers Market

East Park Street 327 S. Academy Street, Cary

Join the Cary Farmers Market for the traditional market season along East Park St., next to Downtown Cary Park. Find a wonderful lineup of vendors offering all locally made and locally grown items. Shop for freshly-harvested produce, humanely-raised meat, and artisan-made goods. Stop by the info booth to learn about their matching program for SNAP/EBT. Children can also get their very own Farmers Market Passport and participate in the Eat-A-Rainbow program, which encourages children to eat healthy, nutritious foods. Learn more about the new location, nutrition programs, and other information on their website or their Facebook and Instagram pages for regularly updated weekly information.

Farmers Fall Festival

Downtown Cary Park

The Farmers Fall Festival is back for the 9th year! Hosted by the Cary Farmers Market, this year’s festival will feature farmers, food, kids’ activities, live music, the famous pie eating contest, and more. The full schedule & information can be found on the Cary Farmers Market website. With thousands of attendees each year, this annual event serves as the main fundraiser for the Cary Farmers Market, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and gives us the funding to continue to operate our weekly market year-round. It’s also a way to spotlight way more local artists, crafters, musicians, and food makers than we can fit in our regular weekly market space. The weekly Cary Farmers Market will still take place along E. Park St. Know Before You Go This event is open to the public. This is in conjunction with the Cary Farmers Market.  All vendors have already been selected.
