She has performed at such notable events as the Democratic National Convention as well as several reputable theaters and jazz clubs across the Carolinas. Her vocals and arrangements weave through a tapestry of genres, including pop, jazz, blues, gospel and country. Also an actress and film composer, Carrie can be seen in the films “War Room” and “Changeover”, where she also won Best Supporting Actress and was nominated for Best Score (Love International Film Festival, Beverly Hills). Her recent release of the Dolly Parton classic, “Jolene”, recently won a Bronze Award for the Best Cover Song by WAM Indie Awards in November of 2023.
