The Really Terrible Orchestra of the Triangle (RTOOT) presents: Refresh And Renew

May 1 and 4, 7:30 pm at the Cary Arts Center

The Really Terrible Orchestra of the Triangle (RTOOT) celebrates spring! It’s time to refresh and renew. Please join us for a delightful evening of music and unexpected humor.

Concerts will be performed on Wednesday, May 1 and Saturday, May 4 at the Cary Arts Center. Doors open at 7:00 p.m. and the concert begins at 7:30 p.m.

Brett Chambers’ Open Mic: Cary Edition

May 3, 7:15 pm at The Cary Theater

Brett Chambers’ Open Mic began in 1996 at Sam Sellers restaurant, Talk of The Town and has been going strong for 28 years! Currently residing at the Blue Note Grill, Open Mic Night has been hosted in seven locations across the region. On May 3, it is coming to The Cary Theater as a Stage Show! Several famous musicians and artists have played at the Open Mic. The stage show will feature some of the best talent to hit the Mic. “The #1 Rule of the Open Mic is to HAVE FUN!”

Cary Farmers Market

May 4, 11, 18, and 25, 8:00 am at East Park Street

Join the Cary Farmers Market for the traditional market season along East Park St., next to Downtown Cary Park.

Find a wonderful lineup of vendors offering all locally made and locally grown items. Shop for freshly-harvested produce, humanely-raised meat, and artisan-made goods. Stop by the info booth to learn about their matching program for SNAP/EBT.

Cary Dog Daze and Pet Expo

May 4, 10:00 am at the Cary Police Department

Get ready to unleash the fun and celebrate our furry friends at the most exciting event of the year – the Cary Dog Daze! Join us for a day filled with tail-wagging excitement, paw-some activities, and unforgettable memories. The Town of Cary is happy to announce the annual Dog Daze and Pet Expo will be held Saturday, May 4, 2024, at the Cary Police Department from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Our very own Cary Animal Services team is hosting this event and is excited to grow the Cary Dog Daze and Pet Expo into an annual extravaganza. This year’s event will include:

Animal Rescues: Come out and see a multitude of dog, cat and wildlife rescue organizations.

Agility Course: Watch amazing canine athletes tackle obstacles with finesse and skill.

Pet Vendor Village: Explore a variety of pet-related products and services from local vendors.

Food Trucks: Indulge in delicious treats for both you and your furry friend.

May the Fourth be with you and join us at the Park to celebrate the “galaxy far, far away”.  In honor of this commemorative Star Wars holiday, the Park will have entertainment throughout the day including, Star Wars trivia, character appearances, hands on crafts, food trucks, live entertainment, and more. Friends of Page-Walker Herbfest

Her most recent album, Revival, was released in 2019 and has been critically hailed as her most personal and uplifting work to date.

Movie Night: Raya and the Last Dragon

This delightful PG-rated film promises a fun and enjoyable evening for all.
