Celebrating America’s 250th Birthday in Cary, NC!

Independence Day has always been a huge highlight of the summertime. But it hits extra hard this year, as it’s the 250th anniversary of the United States’ declaration of independence. With that in mind, and with the 4th landing right on a Saturday, a lot of events and celebrations are coming up. Here’s what is happening in and around Downtown Cary so you don’t miss out on the patriotic fun!

Friday, July 3rd

July 3rd Celebration (in the Downtown Cary Park)

July 3 @ 4:00 pm – 10:00 pm – Downtown Cary Park

A party 250 years in the making! Come out and celebrate the old USA with fun games, a mist zone, arts and crafts and other activities for people of all ages. Food trucks will be on hand to help satisfy your hunger while the Bark Bar will have cold drinks all night. Stay around for a special screening of the 90’s classic Independence Day (PG-13).

Cary Town Band presents America’s 250th Anniversary Patriotic Celebration

July 3 @ 7:30 pm – 9:30 pm – Cary Arts Center

Celebrate America’s Semi-Quincentennial Anniversary with an evening of patriotic pride, history, and musical excitement as the Cary Town Band presents America’s 250th Anniversary Patriotic Celebration.

This event is free, but Buy Tickets for reserved seating if you wish!

Join us on July 4th at KBA as Cary celebrates Independence Day and America’s 250th Anniversary with an unforgettable evening of music, patriotism, and community.

This website is about Downtown Cary, but Koka Booth is THE place to be for the 4th of July if you are in Cary. This cherished Triangle tradition will feature the incredible sounds of the North Carolina Symphony and Cary Town Band performing patriotic favorites and high-spirited classics, along with special programming honoring our nation’s 250th Anniversary. Families can also enjoy festive activities for kids throughout the evening.
