In the blink of an eye, 2025 is nearly done, but there is still plenty to do in Downtown Cary during the cozy sweater weather! Get a preview of the upcoming events for November and you can also see everything on our event page!


Cary Farmers Market

November 1, 8, 15, and 22 @ 9:00 am – 12:00 pm – Downtown Cary Park

Join the Cary Farmers Market for the winter market season along East Park St., next to Downtown Cary Park.

Find a wonderful lineup of vendors offering all locally made and locally grown items. Shop for freshly-harvested produce, humanely-raised meat, and artisan-made goods. Stop by the info booth to learn about their matching program for SNAP/EBT.

Children can also get their very own Farmers Market Passport and participate in the Eat-A-Rainbow program, which encourages children to eat healthy, nutritious foods. Taste of China

November 1 @ 11:00 am – 5:00 pm – Downtown Cary Park

Celebrate the 5th Annual Taste of China with authentic cuisine, traditional performances, and cultural exhibits. Co-hosted by the Town of Cary and the Chinese-American Friendship Association of North Carolina.

Concert Singers of Cary presents Something Wicked This Way Comes

November 1 @ 8:00 pm – 9:30 pm – Cary Arts Center

Join the Concert Singers of Cary for a spine-tingling evening of spooky choral delights. Features include the Witches’ Scene from Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas, Bigler’s setting of Edgar Allen Poe’s The Bells, and Hugo Distler’s The Fire Rider. From eerie classics to chilling new works, this Halloween concert promises a thrilling musical journey into the mysterious, silly, and macabre.

Our guest conductors are Dr. Lindsey Bruner Woodcock and Mark Woodcock! Also featured is Opera on Tap Raleigh and stories of Cary’s haunted history with Dr. Katherine Loflin.

Legacy of Jazz: Here Comes the Sun

November 2 @ 3:30 pm – 5:00 pm – The Cary Theater

Multi-Grammy Award Nominated vocalist Kate McGarry and guitarist Keith Ganz use their decorated jazz backgrounds to offer imaginative and fresh perspectives on indelible pop standards as well as iconic jazz standards. Flavors of Pat Metheny, Sting, Tom Waits, Paul Simon, Joni Mitchell along with original compositions weave a delicate musical narrative of familiarity and extraordinary.

Triangle Wind Ensemble presents From Spartacus To The Shire

November 16 @ 4:00 pm – 5:30 pm – Cary Arts Center

In celebration of our 25th Anniversary, the Triangle Wind Ensemble’s fall concert will feature a collection of our favorite pieces that we have played since our organization was founded. The season opener, From Spartacus to the Shire, will feature Khachaturian’s passionate Adagio and Phrygia from Spartacus and Gandalf from Johan de Meij’s epic Symphony No. 1: The Lord of the Rings. We’ll also perform Shostakovich’s jubilant Festive Overture and Morton Lauridsen’s solemn O Magnum Mysterium. With bold fanfares and moments of profound reflection, this concert promises an afternoon of wonderful music-making.

E.J. Masicampo Bio – Feature

E.J. Masicampo is a comedian based in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. In his comedy, he shares his observations and experiences as a child of immigrants, a divorcee, and a dad. He performs regularly in clubs and festivals across the country and was named North Carolina’s Funniest Person in 2022.
