Downtown Cary is more popular than ever. With new restaurants and businesses, more people have been heading downtown. To accommodate all these people, the town has introduced the brand new GoCary Downtown Loop.
Starting on June 1st, GoCary Downtown Loop (DL) shuttle buses have been operating every 25 minutes on the following schedule:
Thursday 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Friday 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Saturday 8:00 AM – 10:00 PM
Sunday 8:00 AM – 9:00 PM
There is also potential to expand to more days in the future depending on demand.
The shuttle is free and connects the public parking deck at Town Hall with Downtown Cary Park and Chatham Street. GoCary has announced they will remain fare-free until June 2025.
Free fare on brand new Downtown Loop makes for an easy way to get around Downtown Cary in the summer heat, so, next time you head over to Downtown Cary, you can enjoy the social district and surrounding businesses without worrying about parking!
