We saw a great Instagram post from our friends over at Geluna Gelato. We first met Geluna Gelato right after they moved in last Summer.
Check this out!
From @Geluna_Gelato:
Friends, this is completely unrelated to gelato but it’s equally sweet.
This Sunday, July 23, we’ll be fundraising for Horses for Hope of Raleigh. They’re a 501 (c)(3) non-profit whose mission is to provide therapeutic horse riding lessons to “children and adults with disabilities (physical, mental, emotional, speech, and learning) and for persons diagnosed with debilitating or life-threatening illnesses.”
We learned a lot about Horses for Hope in June, when our daughter attended their horse camp (best week of her life!). She fell in love with a horse named Lady, and we fell in love with their mission. Horses are dear to my heart – I’ve personally benefited from equine therapy and can attest to their healing powers.
Come in for a sweet treat this Sunday July 23, when we’ll be donating 20% of all gelato sales to Horses for Hope. Their operation is small and lean, and they’re in huge need of donations – money, equipment, volunteer time, you name it!
If you want to know more, donate directly, or get involved, check out @horsesforhope and www.horsesforhope.org.
