With new construction and incredible growth in-and-around the downtown park, there are new faces coming to Downtown Cary including an amazing organization called GiGi’s Playhouse of Raleigh.
We are working on a piece that will introduce you to GiGi’s and share more about their mission, story, and plans for moving from their current location to their new home in downtown (they’ll set up shop in the commercial space of The Walker).
Did you know that GiGi’s Playhouse aims to bring awareness and inclusion to members of our community with Down Syndrome? And, they are already having an impact in downtown through partnerships with Esteamed Coffee and helping place employees at businesses like Riley Contracting Group.
Part of their journey to downtown includes a partnership with Moon Angel Sweets out of Durham. Our video crew met-up with the team at GiGi’s just last week as they are prepping for the Holidays, and so here’s a sneak-peek getting to know one of the new neighbors who will soon call Downtown Cary home!
