MLK Dreamfest: Tellebration (Children’s Program)

Page-Walker Arts & History Center 119 Ambassador Loop, Cary

This engaging storytelling event for children will feature award-winning storyteller, Willa Brigham, who will share inspiring stories for youth. Includes hands-on craft activities for kids. Please bring a gently used children's book  from your personal collection to donate to Read and Feed. Want book ideas? Tellebration is a family event that is free and open to the public. Registration is not required. 2023 MLK Dreamfest Celebration

Cary Arts Center 101 Dry Ave, Cary

The featured speaker is Dr. Harry L. White Jr. and Mistress of Ceremonies Min. Brandi Q Hancock. Featured Performers NCCU Repertory Dance Co. BUMP The Triangle Youth Ensembles Pure Life Theatre Company MC Quiet Storm SRMH "E-Motion" Dance Company Phi Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. Food available by D' Presto, Lee's Kitchen,  Kitoko Bites  and Cinnabon Food Truck of NC before the celebration. Doors open to the lobby and food service begins at 5 p.m. with limited indoor seating for dining. The Sigma Rho Zeta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc. will collect winter hats, gloves, scarves, socks, and book bags for Reedy Creek Magnet Middle School students.
