Here are some events happening in Downtown Cary that caught our eye. You can always check in with our friends at the Town of Cary for more events.

Cary Downtown Farmers Market

Cary Downtown Farmer's Market 200 E Chatham St, Cary

Getting Fresh Since 1996 The Cary Downtown Farmers Market began in 1996, when three small family farms wanted a place to sell their products directly to the community.  A strong community has developed at the market over the years.  The town of Cary has come to know and trust the farmers who make their food while sampling produce, learning about where and how the food is grown, and talking about recipes with other shoppers. The Cary Downtown Farmers Market has grown since those three farmers began, and now welcomes not only farmers but also artisans such as coffee roasters, bakers, and craftsmen.  Together, we share a passion for fresh and local products! Local Roots All of our growers must live and grow or raise their products within 100 miles of downtown Cary, North Carolina.  We like for our growers to focus on environmental best practices, using minimal fertilizers and chemicals, including no post-harvest chemicals.  They use responsible methods of raising meat animals, and near-organic methods of growing crops.  The only way to have fresher or healthier vegetables, fruits and meats is to grow them yourself!
