Downtown History Tour Climb aboard and let guides from the Friends of the Page-Walker Hotel share the history of our town as you ride through historic neighborhoods and past historic sites and landmarks. You'll see homes that housed former influential members of the community, including civic leaders, merchants, doctors, and the teachers and principals of North Carolina's first public high school. You'll also see historic churches, theaters, and old general stores, and even visit cemeteries with graves dating back to the 1800s. There is a fee associated with this tour and tickets are required. African American History Tour Board the trolley with the Friends of Page-Walker as they share some of our Town's African American history. Ride through historic Cary neighborhoods, see historic sites and landmarks as you learn about Cary's segregated past, its historically African-American enclaves, leaders, and stories not often told of life in Cary. There is a fee associated with this tour and tickets are required.
