Join Applause! Cary Youth Theatre this summer for Shakespeare’s fantastical tale of betrayal, exile, magic, and revenge! On a tiny forgotten island, the exiled Prospero has washed up like a message in a bottle, carrying his only daughter and grieving his lost position. Years later, those who wronged him fall into his clutches, and his grand game begins. Can there be revenge without violence? Can we be redeemed through art? What happens when the things we threw away come back to haunt us?
