Southern Avenue rocked Downtown Cary for a FREE concert on Saturday, October 22nd. Food and drink from local vendors kept the crowd full, and the Memphis-based, GRAMMY®-nominated Southern Avenue did not disappoint.
We chatted with Lisa from Cary who said, “They are great! I love them. I was here last night, and I saw that they were having something, I didn’t even know what it was. So I just came and this is really good!”
In 2019 Southern Avenue released “KEEP ON” and it was a hit, debuting among the top 5 on Billboard’s “Top Blues Albums” chart amidst worldwide critical acclaim, ultimately earning Southern Avenue their first GRAMMY® Award nomination, for “Best Contemporary Blues Album”.
Brad and Brittany have been in Cary for a few years now, but Saturday marked a first for them.
“This is actually our first time. We’ve been in Cary for about three years now, but this is the first time I’ve seen an event like this in this space!”
