School BreakOUT!

November 5 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

Join us for a fantastic day of fun and discovery at our School BreakOUT in the Park, in honor of National STEM Day! Dive into the amazing world of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) with a splash of Art (STEAM) thrown in for extra creativity and excitement.

Let your imagination soar with blocks and stomp rockets in the Park St Arena, while the Art Cart in the Nest Pavilion fuels your creativity. Dive into fun STEM building with Over the Moon Play Space at the Academy Pavilion. Don’t miss the thrilling Birds of Prey Show with Creature Catcher Clay, where you’ll meet a hawk, owl, and vulture on Frantz Square Lawn, followed by a picture-perfect moment! The fun continues in the afternoon with the ‘Mad Science’ Vortex Knockdown, Dry Ice Storm, and Zap Attack Booths, plus the NC State High-Powered Rocketry Club. Lastly, don’t forget to grab a bite from Tacos Neza at Park Street Courts!

  • 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.: Imagination Blocks and Stomp Rockets in Park St Arena
  • 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.: Art Cart in the Nest Pavilion
  • 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.: STEM Building with Over the Moon Play Space in Academy Pavilion
  • 10:30 – 11:15 a.m.: Birds of Prey Show with Creature Catcher Clay on Frantz Square Lawn
  • 11:15 a.m. – 12 p.m.: Birds of Prey Show with Creature Catcher Clay on Frantz Square Lawn (picture time to follow until 12:30 p.m.)
  • 12 – 4 p.m.: ‘Mad Science’ Vortex Knockdown Booth on the Great Lawn Pavilion
  • 12 – 4 p.m.: Tacos Neza Food Truck at Park Street Courts
  • 1 – 4 p.m.: ‘Mad Science’ Dry Ice Storm and Zap Attack Booths on Frantz Square Lawn
  • 1 – 4 p.m.: NC State High Powered Rocketry Club Booth on Frantz Square Lawn
  • 2 – 4 p.m.: Robotics Booth with “Byte Force” robotics team on the Great Lawn Pavilion
