GLOW: Rattan Sphere Lantern-making Workshop

Learn how to create lanterns for Cary’s first ever community lantern parade! This is a workshop series you and your family and friends won’t want to miss! All are welcomed to join renowned visual teaching artist Gowri Savoor for a lantern-making workshop experience. There will be a few workshops to sign up for weekend of January 8th, focusing on a specific lantern type using sustainable materials and suitable for ages 8+. Participants are invited to carry their lanterns in a magical community lantern parade which will be held on January 15th as a part of the GLOW outdoor exhibition. Participants under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
