Triangle Smash Don’t Trash 2019

FreeMost of the 1.3 billion pounds of pumpkins produced in the U.S. end up in the landfill. Those nutrients are too precious to waste which is why we’re hosting our 2nd annual community event “Smash Don’t Trash” on Saturday, November 9th from 12pm – 3pm.
Community members are encouraged to bring their old pumpkins to be composted rather than landfilled! The event will host pumpkin smashing stations, informational booths, and delicious beer available for purchase. All compost created from “Smash Don’t Trash” will be shared with our friends at Gracious Harvest Community Garden.
